Keynote Speaker :  Councilmember Paul Krekorian

 
Since 2010 Los Angeles City Councilmember Paul Krekorian has served on the Los Angeles City Council where he serves as chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. Paul also helms the Ad Hoc Committee on Job Creation, is vice chair of the Housing Committee, and sits on the Energy, Climate Change and Environmental Justice Committee; the Trade Travel and Tourism Committee; the Ad Hoc Committee on the 2028 Olympics; the Executive Employee Relations Committee and the Board of Referred Powers. Paul also serves on the boards of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), Metrolink and the San Fernando Valley Council of Governments, a coalition of leaders advocating for the Valley’s two million residents.

 

 Additional Speakers : LA Department of City PlanningAndy Rodriquez and Miles Orr from the Department of City Planning will be speaking about, and gathering community input on updating the Southeast Valley Community Plans that are over 20 years old. Input into this plan is vitally important to our community. This updated plan will guide building heights, density, zoning and more for the next 10 years.
