A giant three-day music festival called Angelfest is being planned for October 2017 adjacent to the Sepulveda Wildlife Reserve in the Sepulveda Dam Basin (Woodley Park). The proposed event will run from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. each day.

The Board of the Studio City Residents Association strongly opposes this event at this location for the following reasons:

• Music with high-volume acoustics (loud speakers) will be played on five stages, which will impact area residents and the wildlife preserve on this site;
• Pyrotechnics and intense lighting will be used with the potential for damage to the park, wildlife and surrounding neighborhoods;
• 65,000 people are expected to attend with the potential for massive congestion in the area; and
• The proposed 26 days for load-in and tear-down will dramatically hinder access and enjoyment of the park by the community.
